I visited Dr. Taran at The Dental Center in the Trumbull Mall, at 5065 Main ST, CT. She recommended replacing childhood fillings. The wait was horrendous! (1.5 hours, while she attended others, during work on me.) Then she filed down a molar to half its height, leaving sharp edges, and completely flattening the crown. Now I have to see another dentist to see if there is a danger to weakening of the tooth, and to have the sharp edges filed smooth. Oh, and you're simply left in the chair, wondering what comes next - you have to ask if you're done, and for water to rinse. Run away, screaming!
