Review of Dr. Derek Thomas Schmidt by Mary Beth Bargielski:

I had a dental emergency. They got me in within an hour. I had had a previous bad experience with a dentist and was quite anxious and worried about the whole thing. Dr. Schmidt and his wonderful assistant Mary Kay, explained each step, listened to me, constantly checked to see if I was o.k. Mary Kay actually kept her hand reassuringly on my arm when she could. He did a great job and figured out a way not to use much epinephrine which was a big problem with the last dentist I went to. A very good experience. I would go back any time!
